Hi I’m Steve, my wife Kim and I are hosts of the Love Safety Net. As so many of our listeners love our music selection on our on-line radio show, we thought it was time to put together some lists.

We are proud to present the 12 love songs we love the most.

‘Your Love Is King’– Sade

‘So In Love’– Curtis Mayfield

‘Call My Name’– Prince

‘Caravan of Love’– The Isley Brothers

‘Loved Right’– Lari White

‘You Are The Sunshine Of My Life’– Stevie Wonder

‘Buy Me A Rose’– Luther Vandross

‘Rainbow Connection’– Kermit The Frog

‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’– Smokey Robinson

‘Hands To Heaven’– Breathe

‘Let’s Get It On’– Marvin Gaye

‘World in My Eyes’– Depeche Mode

It’s quite easy to select 12 great love songs, we can do that on a morning walk without too much trouble, but then we thought about cutting it down to the three best of all time, and that really was a challenge!

Of course, we had to leave out so many great songs. But here they are, our three favourites, not in any particular order.

1- Call My Name, Prince. (NPG Records, 2004 from the LP ‘Musicology’)

2– ‘So In Love‘, Curtis Mayfield. (Curtom Records, 1975 from the LP ‘There’s No Place Like America Today’)

3-  ‘Loved Right‘, Lari White.  (Skinny White Girl Records, 2004 from the LP ‘Green Eyed Soul’)

These are the three songs that we agreed upon. I don’t think we will ever tire of them, each of them have everything you’d expect in a love song so do check them out!

Now it’s your turn! We’d like you to select and post your three greatest love songs of all time on this page.

We really want to hear what you think are the greatest, or the most special for you. We are always looking for new love songs to add to our lists, we would really love your input. You don’t necessarily have to add the release date and label, but it if you do, it may just help us and others track down a copy.

Looking forward to seeing what you select.

Steve Cooper.
